Bonjour à tous,
Je suis intéressée pour faire de la distillation mon métier notamment huiles essentielles et élixirs floraux mais je ne connais absolument pas la marche à suivre pour commencer. Je voudrais également produire les plantes qui me serviront à la distillation. Pouvez me donner des conseils pour démarrer (formation, quelle région serait favorable au développement de cette entreprise...) et aussi me dire si le secteur n'est pas encore trop saturé. Je ne voudrais évidemment pas m'engager dans un secteur trop encombré qui ne me permettrait pas de vivre de mon activité.
Est-il aussi possible d'allier ce métier à celui de la distillation d'alcool ?

Une bonne partie de vos questions trouveront une réponse au syndicat SIMPLES (voyez les liens sur ce site) qui se compose de cueilleurs/producteurs/distillateurs de plantes aromatiques et médicinales. Ce sont plutôt des distillateurs d'huiles essentielles que d'alcool, mais ils utilisent l'alcool pour leurs préparations : teintures-mères, élixirs floraux…

petite précision : être distillateur à la fois d'alcool et d'huiles essentielles est légalement possible, mais assez compliqué au niveau des douanes… mais cette formule va peut-être se développer… courage !
